From Bluyonda
The perfect gift to give a overseas visitor or to send/take overseas, is this wonderful scarf with the colours and shapes of W.A. Karri Trees all over the scarf.
SCARF TITLE: “Karri Trees-H”
DIMENSIONS: Panoramic 160cmX25cm.
PHOTOGRAPHY: July 2023 at Boranup Karri Forest, Western Australia, Australia.
STORY: Just south of Margaret River in the Boranup Karri Forest these magnificent trees (Eucalyptus diversicolor) can be seen rising up to about 60 metres in height, with the tallest over 80 metres. They are thought to live up to 300 years. Karri wood is a beautiful mahogany colour and the tree bark is smooth. The wood can be logged and used for flooring and Cabinetry. Because of their tall nature Karri trees have been used in the forests as bushfire lookouts. Limited to the high rainfall zone of Western Australia, the Karri Forest is a tourist attraction. This image provides a variation of a stripes design and was created with multi colours and use of the detailed patterns in the forest foliage.
