Growing up in a small country town, I was always captivated by the natural beauty around me, finding creative expression in everything from wood and metal to my mother’s flowers. Throughout school, I explored various artistic mediums such as illustration, silk painting and screen printing, always seeking new ways to challenge myself and translate my surroundings into art.

It wasn’t until I attended silversmithing courses at the JamFactory in South Australia that I found my true passion. Walking past the hot shop, I became enchanted by the movement of molten glass, its fluidity, and its vibrant colours. This led me to pursue Applied Hot Glass at the University of South Australia, where I embraced the art of glassblowing and sand casting. Inspired by the rich colours and textures of Australian flora and landscape, I began to weave these natural elements into my work. My attention to detail and love for vivid colours quickly became the essence of my creations.

After interning with talented artists and honing my skills in lampwork and kiln work, I established my own home studio. Here, I continue to explore the interplay of light, texture and form, crafting pieces that celebrate the beauty of Australia’s flowers and landscapes through glass, each piece a reflection of my passion for nature.
